It's fall, and you know what this means; new season, new wreath. It's time to dress up your door (or wall or mantle, or well, everything) with a design that welcomes all the trick-or-treaters of Halloween night just as well as the cornucopia bearing guests that come at Thanksgiving-- and all the weeks in between.
A good seasonal wreath sets the right mood. And the warm colors and earthy materials of the fall season especially add to the welcoming atmosphere, to me. I think of wreaths like your house's accessories. I love to dress them up!
So I found a few simple wreaths that'll go a long way to welcome guest to the front door and tease them into the festivity, fabulous-ness and coziness that lies inside. The fall wreaths below will give our home so much curb appeal you'll know just how to spruce up your front door to be best on the block. Get ready to craft or shop your favorites!
Succulent Wreath If you live in the desert or somewhere warm reflect the season with a succulent wreath -- and if you don't, hey! still create one! This classic, clean and green color scheme is created with real or faux succulents. Tuck clusters of Spanish moss, airplants and succulents into a grapevine wreath. Add foraged and faux greens. Secure with fishing line. (We purchased faux succulent materials for this from Pottery Barn at the Avenues of East Cobb and pottery barn.com shared the tutorial with links to supplies on the Pottery Barn blog)
Wreaths using collected and dried materials don't have to read over-the-top country. This wild wonder owes it's elegant good looks to the embellishments using natural elements like olive branch, grapevine wreath an berries.
