Thanks to Studio B Photography for including the beautiful floral imagery in your feature, Fox Theatre Wedding Atlanta | Jody + Chrissie. With an abundance of glitz and glamour this modern-day fairytale wedding is all the beauty you'll need for the week. Okay, for the year. Don't say I didn't warn you!
From the magical rooftop presentation of two bouquets atop the historical Georgian Terrace to a refreshing color palette of white, orange, tangerine, and gray to two princess brides surrounded by luxurious brunia, dusty miller, snow on the mountain, garden roses and ranunculus everything was magically curated with elegance and pure fun. My friend Lauren Weems styled, planned, organized, designed and managed the fabulous day that pays homage to the LGBTQ community and graciously allowed me to help with the florals while very young in my career.
The Knot brought the day's photo story to life with show stopping print features - in The Knot Magazine, The Knot special Gay Marriage edition and in The Knot Georgia issue. The exquisite imagery is sure to leave you speechless. See the whole special day and all the flowers unfold in the original post. And, check out the excerpt below.
Truly yours,
CGH
FOX THEATRE WEDDING ATLANTA | JODY + CHRISSIE
From Studio B: "There are so many words I could use to describe Jody + Chrissie’s wedding.
Dazzling. Opulent. Dramatic. Stylish. Glamorous. Stunning. Incredible…I could go on and on.
However, I think the word that suits this celebration the best is simple- love.
One of the people who toasted the couple that evening summed it up perfectly with this quote from the Beatles:
All you need is love. Love is all you need.
The amount of love at Jody + Chrissie’s wedding was overwhelming.
Seeing these two women gaze at each other with such adoration that their eyes twinkled with tears was enough to make my own eyes water.
The ceremony featured a custom backdrop created by Adorned Event Design that was inspired by the famous piece “The Kiss” by Klimt.
The highlight of the reception was when Chrissie and Jody were joined by the Dames Aflame for a surprise performance during their first dance.
All of this took place at The Fox Theatre, which is an amazing venue for a wedding!
Chrissie and Jody had invited their guests to dress up to go along with the wedding’s 30’s glamour theme and nearly everyone in attendance obliged.
The vintage attire made the wedding even more fun!
Jody + Chrissie, we can’t thank you enough for having us there for your spectacular wedding. We had a blast and are so very happy for you both!
XOXO,
B"
